One Million Roses was founded by Lucia and Leynel. Lucia is a Bolivian, self-taught artist who started playing with wire a decade ago. Roses were the first sculpture created by Lucia and it was something that shaped their initial dream: "making one million roses." Later this dream was changing shape and it turned to "twisting aspects of people’s life into wire sculptures." Their story continues to unspool making wire sculptures while raising their two young boys Sebastián & Milan. They work from home, their apartment is full of wires, pliers, sculptures, organic veggies, fruits & joy.
